My Wine Cellar

A four year exercise in woodworks

The short video tour

The winecellar shelves are primarily made out of 15x45 mm pine stripwood which have been stained with oak woodwork dye.

In addition to shelves around the walls, there is a waterfall shelf in the middle of the cellar.

All in all the total capacity of the wine cellar is about 1250 standard bottles.

On the far right are diamond shelves made for storage of magnum sized bottles.

Closeup of the shelves. The single bottle storage units are made out of one front and bask vertical piece of stripwood which has mutiple horizontally placed pieces of stripwood in a ladder configuration.

Plans

Here are some of the plans I used for building my wine cellar if someone would like to replicate it. The unit of measurements are millimeters.

  1. Components for ladders and assembly
  2. Different ladders
  3. Frames used for diamond shelves
  4. Assembly of ladders from single bottle space PoV
  5. Waterfall shelf
