General info:
g3data is a tool for extracting data from scanned graphs. For graphs published in scientific articles the actual data is usually not explicitly given ; g3data makes the process of extracting this data easy. g3data is distributed as a part of Fedora starting from Fedora 7.
gdpc is a program for visualising molecular dynamic
simulations, it is a very versatile program and could easily be used for other
purposes. gdpc reads xyz input and custom formats and can write out pictures of
the frames.
gperiodic is a program for browsing the periodic table
and looking up data for different elements. It also features a non-graphical interface.
gsx is a Scour Exchange client for linux, currently under development. Most features should work. Scour has gone bankrupt rendering this software more or less useless. I'll leave the source up if someone want to learn from it.
gmbase is a program for maintaining a member database for a smaller organisation, it is fairly versatile and comes with many different options for configuration.
